Which age groups does Becky treat?

Becky has experience with the child and adult populations. She typically works with individuals from ages 7 - 65 years old.
What services can I expect when scheduling with a Psychiatric NP?

An initial appointment is scheduled with Becky to review health history, current symptoms and goals for treatment/stabilization. During this appointment, Becky offers recommendations for psychopharmocological treatment as well as providing support to the client by offering education around diagnosis, medications and community or therapuetic resources to help support a client in their treatment. Subsequent appointments are made to review progress with treatment, current symptmaology and medication management.
What policies should I be aware of?

The practice does NOT offer the following services: a: ADHD evaluations for the purpose of academic or employment accommodations. Becky is able to diagnose and treat ADHD, formal testing should be completed by a clinical psychologist for any accommodations. b: Forensic evaluations for legal purposes c: Custody evaluations or parental assessments for use in determining custody or visitation. d: Disability evaluations, including Short-Term Disability, determining leaves of absence from employment. No claims for disability. e: Substance Use Disorders or treatment, including Suboxone or opiate-replacement therapies f: Prescription of controlled substances through telehealth services ( such as stimulants or benzodiazepines)
